Artist Description:
"Like the Back of My Hand" is a soft-sculpture that depicts hands clasping each other in comfort while simultaneously forming the shape of a home. This piece references the idiom 'I know you like the back of my hand' through the depiction of family photographs collaged onto the outside of each soft-sculpture hand. These photographs capture memories from my childhood that, as the years go by, become more difficult to remember.
